AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK 2005
The WEA (Wahoo Education Association) would like to take this opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who make a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
American Education Week will be observed November 14-18 with different groups being honored each day.
Monday November 14: Nationwide Kick-off--Thank a teacher
Tuesday November 15: Administrator and School Board Appreciation
Wednesday November 16: Education Support Professionals Day
Thursday November 17: Invite the community to be a part of our school day
Friday November 18: Substitute Educators Day
The WEA and NSEA (Nebraska State Education Association) hope that these activities will highlight the importance of bringing together everyone in the community-educators, parents, students and public figures-in an effort to build great public schools. Together, we can make a difference!
