Wahoo Middle and High Schools are excited to continue their 1:1 iPad (WMS) and MacBook (HS) initiative for the upcoming school year! Here is some key information about the WPS 11 devices:
District leaders will review the 1:1 Program Policy and Procedures manual, address frequently asked questions, and provide basic information about the use of the devices for the upcoming school year. Before initially receiving the device, students and parents must submit the following:
- Sign & Submit the Internet Usage Agreement
- Sign & Submit the Device Loan Agreement
- Pay a $35 Technology Convenience Fee
The agreements listed above can be filled out and submitted online. This can be done by logging into the Powerschool Parent Portal and clicking on “Forms” on the left hand side. Your Powerschool Parent Portal can be accessed through the school’s website or you can download the app and use the district code: QSDC. If you need assistance with your parent account please contact the school offices.
The $35 Technology Convenience Fee will need to be paid before the student receives a device. In addition, all outstanding school fines from the previous school year must be paid prior to the student receiving a device. The technology fee and school fines (except library fines, which must be paid at school) can be paid in advance of the parent/student meeting by accessing our E-Funds system (button located under "Quick Links" on the right side of this website), or by contacting the middle or high school offices. As a reminder, using our E-Funds system requires you to set up an account using your child's student ID. Please contact your child's school secretary if you need that number. It is advised to pay in advance in order to speed up the checkout process.
