Iversen/Polacek/Thrasher/Tingelhoff capture Accounting, Business Math, and Business Calculations awards in virtual competition

There were 191 students from 25 high schools across Nebraska who participated in the fourth annual Best of the West Virtual Business Invitational Jan. 26 - 28, 2021. The event is co-hosted by Chadron State College and the Nebraska Council on Economic Education (NCEE).

Schools attending represented every part of Nebraska, and this year's virtual environment allowed many more schools to attend than in the past, including Wahoo High School.

“In the past, we have had about seven schools and 100 students; however, the virtual environment greatly increased the number of schools and students participating. The result was a much more competitive contest,” said NCEE Chadron Center Administrator Dr. Gary Dusek.

Wahoo had four students place in the contest.

Accounting
Caden Tingelhoff (1st place)
Ben Thrasher (3rd place)

Business Math
Autumn Iversen (1st place)

Business Calculations
Caden Tingelhoff (3rd place)
Luke Polacek (5th place)

Congratulations Warrior business and accounting students on another successful competition!
