Wahoo Chess Club Competes at First Two 2012-13 Tournaments

The Wahoo Chess Club competed successfully at their first two tournaments of the year.

Other students participating at Millard South were Grace Wirka, Sean Rowe, Vanis Davidson, Sam Dubois, and Dalton Rademaker.
On January 26, the Wahoo Elementary team placed 6th out of 39 teams at the St. Patrick’s Chess Meet. Gabe Harris placed 2nd to lead the Wahoo Team. Demarius Bosveld, Ben Thrasher, Sam Dubois, and Thomas Waido captured third place trophies for Wahoo. Other students competing for Wahoo were Grace Wirka, Vanis Davidson, Andrew Waido, Braden Harris, and Chase Aldrich in the middle school division.
