FBLA Keeps Busy with Competition and Fund-raising Efforts

Two Earn Awards at Midland Lutheran College Competition

WHS Future Business Leaders of America

Wahoo High School's FBLA has been very busy. We recently held a paper chain link competition against Raymond Central's FBLA and raised a total of $622.06 for MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Wahoo raised $400.06 and Raymond Central raised $222. Thanks to everyone who supported this fundraiser.

February 12-18 is National FBLA week. We have been observing this week with locker notes, candy, donuts for members and high school staff, and laser tag in Lincoln.

On February 14eight members attended the Midland Lutheran College Business competition in Fremont. Award winners were Gina Halbom, who placed first in the Marketing division, fifth in Accounting II, and fifth in Job Interview, and Cassidy Nelson, who placed second in Job Interview and sixth in Business Communications. Congratulations!!

WHS seniors Gina Halbom and Cassidy Nelson were the two WHS award winners at the Midland Lutheran College Business Competition on February 14.
