What is it? Club Volleyball is a way for girls to get additional practice and repetition playing volleyball in the winter and spring.
“The purpose of the USAV Junior Olympic program is to offer teenagers an opportunity to become involved in a wholesome and beneficial athletic activity, which they can pursue at various skill levels. In many cases it is a chance for athletes to receive high QUALITY instruction in skills development and team strategy.”
Who? Wahoo girls, grades 4-12, who are interested in playing club volleyball.
When? Club volleyball generally runs between January and April. Tournaments are held on the weekends, and there are usually 2-3 practices a week in the evenings. Monday and Wednesday 8-10 (bigs) 8-9:15ish (littles). Most of our teams will begin after basketball season.
What’s the cost? The registration fee with the Great Plains Region Volleyball Association is $62, and is non-refundable. Registering with GPVB allows you to be eligible to play with any GPVB team.
Club teams in Lincoln and Omaha charge additional fees of $500 up to $1400 depending on the level of competition (most are $500- $750). Wahoo Club Volleyball fee is around $125-$150, depending on number of girls and tournaments registered for.
How do I get started? You MUST register with GPVB before you can join any team.

o Click on the “Online Registration” tab
o Follow the instructions on the page
o Select “Powerhouse” when asked to indicate the club.
