FCCLA Members Shine at STAR Events
Four Qualify for Upcoming State Competition
Five members of the Wahoo High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competed on Friday, January 21 in the District 3 STAR Competition.
STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition, and consists of competitive events held every year in chapters across the nation. Students’ projects range in topic from career preparation to event planning to culinary skills and design competitions.
Members Mikayla Gall, Tymber States, Janae Urban, Darian Coffey and Evann Vrana competed this year. Complete results are shown below:

Those who qualified for the state competition will compete at the Nebraska State FCCLA Conference April 3-5 in Lincoln. Congratulations to all participants!
