What a perfect day for a trip to UNL!

All 88 Wahoo Elementary 5th grade students headed to Lincoln on April 21.

Next, we walked to Memorial Stadium for the big tour. We were able to see the weight room, where all 400 athletes have their own hospital, and all of the different fields on which the athletes play and practice. A highlight was seeing the film on the Heisman Trophy Winners.

Lastly, we went to Valentino’s. Words cannot describe watching 88 5th graders gorge themselves at a buffet, so I will let your imagination wander . . . or you might choose to believe the rumors of a student eating 5 pieces of pizza, 7 sundaes, and multiple smiley fries!

We had the BEST field trip ever!
