Warrior senior Zach Fox started the 2023 track season on a high note @ Concordia, taking 1st place in the 60M hurdles. Other 1st place winners were Benji Nelson in triple jump and Sam Edmonds/Brandon Greenfield/Noah Bordovsky/Zach Fox in the 1600M relay.

Last year the Warrior Boys Track team captured the B-2 District Championship, and Wahoo qualified 15 for State! The 2023 season starts @ the Concordia University Invitational on Thursday, Mar. 16.

Overall the girls and boys competed very well on Tuesday as the girls finished 9th with 6 points and the boys were District Runners-Up, finishing 2nd with 91 points at the B-2 District in Elkhorn. There are 10 State Qualifiers that will compete in 11 events at the State Track Meet next Wednesday and Thursday.

FULL MEET RESULTS

The girls’ team finished tied for 11th with 19 points, and the boys finished 2nd with 85.5 team points on Friday. This track meet was extremely difficult with 14 teams in attendance and deteriorating weather conditions as the day went on. Our kids competed really well and gave great effort again this week. We had a lot of athletes post personal and season-best efforts.

Warrior Boys open 2023 track season with 3rd place finish @ Concordia
Fox takes 1st in 60M Hurdles, Nelson owns triple jump, 1600M Relay Team tops the competition; Warriors travel to A-G Invite on Saturday
Concordia Invitational (March 16, 2023)

The Wahoo Warrior Track got its 2023 season off and running on Thursday. In a very difficult track meet with 14 Class B schools, the Wahoo boys and girls competed very well. The boys scored 62 points and finished 3rd and the girls scored 2 points finishing 14th. There were several others that had great days with season-best and personal record efforts at the Concordia Indoor Invite.
