15th Annual Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast Once Again Draws Record Crowd

810 Guests Served at Yearly Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration!

February 29, 2012 . . . what a day it was!!!!!

Green Eggs and Ham were enjoyed by 810 guests at Wahoo Elementary's 15th annual celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday.

It was another record breaking attendance!!!

This annual event, sponsored by the Wahoo Elementary/Middle School PTO, was enjoyed by students, their families, and invited dignitaries. Dignitaries, invited by the 5th grade students, included Senator Chris Langemeier, Chief of Police Ken Jackson, Mayor Jerry Johnson, County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz, and Librarian Denise Lawver.

Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Horton, and Mayzie were brought to life by Wahoo High School's Seussical production cast. What a delight their antics created amongst the guests!
