Two WPS Students Volunteer with Hastings Special Olympics Powerlifting Team

Team Makes 18th Appearance at Cornhusker State Games

Wahoo High School senior Cameron Golter and Wahoo Middle School 8th grader Jared West have been volunteers with the Hastings Special Olympics powerlifting team for many years. Both boys also help at other non-Special Olympic powerlifting meets across the state whenever they get a chance.

Golter and West joined the Hastings Special Olympics powerlifting team as they made their 18th appearance at the 2011 Cornhusker State Games on Saturday, July 16.
