'The Poetry Menu' Event Takes Place January 20

On Sunday, January 20, Wahoo High School students Kinsey Clark and Ashley Jordan will be two of the featured poets on Young Artists Night at the Holland Center in Omaha.

Twelve young poets will read from their original works. The public is invited to this event. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the poets performing from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  Admission is free with a suggested $5.00 donation.

Information from Poetry Menu:

Join Omaha Performing Arts and Poetry Menu for an evening of exploring and celebrating the art of POETRY featuring young spoken word artists from all over the Omaha Metro. Poets will be reciting some of their own original works and sharing some of the thoughts and feelings of our next generation of writers and artists.

Young Artists Nights offer a wonderful opportunity to savor the flavor of some of the region's most promising new talents in the unique atmosphere of 1200 Club at the Holland.
