Wahoo Public Schools Staff "Give Back" to the Community

Staff Donates Money to Numerous Area Organizations

Jason Libal, WMS Principal & Activities Director

November 15, 2007

Once again, the Wahoo Public Schools staff chose to give back to the Wahoo community. The Wahoo Public School’s staff members have contributed to a fund to be used for various community improvement projects and charitable causes. Donations for this fund were voluntary from all staff:  certified teachers, non-certified staff members, aides, administrators, etc. We would like to stress that the money collected is made up entirely of contributions from individuals, not taxpayers’ money from the school district. This year's contributions are listed below:

The following are the agencies and amounts distributed from the $3765.00 that was collected in the account for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 school year.

WAHOO VOLUNTEER FIRE---$251
WAHOO VOLUNTEER RESCUE---$251
REGION V---$251
WAHOO PUBLIC LIBRARY---$251
MIDGET AND LEGION BASEBALL---$251
VFW CHRISTMAS ACCOUNT---$251
