Current certified openings: Head Start Director, K-12 Substitute Teachers (Non-certified: HS SpEd Para, Bus Drivers & Substitute Paraprofessionals)

Wahoo Public Schools has the following openings for the 2018-2019 school year:  

Certified Positions:

Wahoo Public Schools, in cooperation with Community Action Partnership of Lincoln, are seeking applicants for a Head Start Director at the Saunders County Head Start program in Wahoo. The Director will be responsible for program leadership and practice placed coaching. Wahoo Public is a progressive Class C-1 district just 25 miles north of Lincoln and 25 miles west of Omaha. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.


Non-Certified Positions:

Wahoo Public Schools is accepting applications for a High School Special Education para-professional for the 2018-2019 school year. This position will be for 7 ½ hours Monday through Friday, on the days that school is in session. Please download the non certified application linked at the bottom of this page. Applications can be emailed to WPS Special Education Director Shelley Maass at smaass@wahoowarriors.org, or they can be mailed/dropped off at the superintendent’s office which is located at 2201 N. Locust, Wahoo, Ne 68066. If you have any questions, please call Kris Pokorny at 443-3051. All potential employees are required to fill out a background check application.

Wahoo Public Schools is taking applications for substitute and activity bus drivers. All training and CDL classes for bus drivers will be paid by the district. If hired, you will be required to pass a drug screening and background check.

Wahoo Public Schools is seeking substitute paraprofessionals and kitchen help. Interested persons will fill in for a para or cook who is not able to be to work that day. These positions are for substituting only, on days that students are in session. Once a background check has been completed, you will be placed on the call list.
