PLEASE NOTE: Wahoo Public Schools had four days built into the original calendar to be used as snow days. Due to inclement weather, five have already been used and we still have two months of winter to go. Therefore, Wahoo Public Schools has made adjustments to the second semester calendar.
School will now be in session on days that were non-school days on our original calendar. Those three days include: Friday, February 19; Friday, March 5; and Monday, April 5.
In addition, minutes have been added to the school day.
These changes add a total of four days back to the calendar, one to cover the extra day already used and three to work with in case of further inclement weather. If all or some of the remaining three days are not used, days will be taken off the calendar at the end of the year. The calendar adjustments were approved at the January Board meeting at the recommendation of the administration.
This adjustment is an exceptional solution to an exceptional NE winter. We thank you for your cooperation with the calendar. If you have a conflict please contact your building principal.
