WPS to Celebrate "Music in Our Schools" Month with March 30 Community-Wide Assembly
WPS Students & UNK Show Choir "Nebraskats" Slated to Perform
Wahoo Public Schools would like to cordially invite everyone in the community to celebrate “Music In Our Schools Month” by attending a special music assembly.
The assembly will be held at the Wahoo High School Gymnasium on Tuesday, March 30 at 9:15 a.m.
The assembly will feature performances by Wahoo music students of all ages from grades 4-12. The Wahoo music students are under the direction of Kristin Laughlin (elementary music), Julie Baker-Anderson (middle/high school vocal music) and Tim Rischling (middle/high school band).
Also featured will be the University of Nebraska at Kearney show choir, better known as the “Nebraskats,” who promise to be a very entertaining group. Don’t miss this exciting program as we celebrate the talents of our students and the positive role music plays in ALL of our lives.
