To celebrate, Wahoo Elementary students have been displaying their artwork for the public. Two students, fifth grader Matt Dobesh and fourth grader Madilyn Larsen, were chosen to participate in a statewide art exhibit at the State Capitol Rotunda in Lincoln.

Students from across Nebraska and their families were invited to view the artwork at a reception held on March 13.

Locally, six Wahoo Elementary students will have their artwork featured at the Wahoo Public Library! Students from each grade will be featured in the library’s gallery until April 30. The exhibit is located in the library’s conference room.

Kindergarten student Jenna Adams, first grader Peyton Ricks, and second grader Kole Bordovsky will represent the primary grades. Breann Matlock from third grade, fourth grader Brett Walker and fifth grade students Claire Johnston and Hannah Brust are displaying art from the upper levels.

Be sure to stop in the Library to see what we’ve been up to in the art room!
