California Project LEAN's Food on the Run program promotes healthy eating and physical activity. Through the program, student advocates are trained in the basics of nutrition, physical activity, advertising and working with the media. There are student advocates trained in nearly 30 high schools in California who are making changes to their campus to add more healthy foods in the cafeteria and vending machines, and increase the opportunities for students to be physically active.
