Two WHS Band Students Earn First Chair in 2007 Class B All-State Band

Wahoo High School Band Senior Joy Nelson and Sophomore Alison Thomsen performed with the 2007 Class B All-State Honor Band on the University of Nebraska at Omaha Campus on March 17. They were selected through a try out process of all students from Class B schools from across the State of Nebraska.
Alison was selected First Chair Flute/Piccolo and Joy was selected as First Chair Oboe.
"It's exciting to have these musicians in the high school band. I can see many more Class B All-Staters in our Future," commented WHS Band Director Eric Snyder.
