The WHS
girls golf team returned to action on Thursday (Sept. 4) in a
triangular against Capital Conference foes Arlington and host
Ashland-Greenwood/Elmwood Murdock at Grandpa’s Woods Golf
Course.
The Warriors
once again experienced perfect golfing weather and used it to their
advantage. The team took the title with a 204, followed by
Arlington at 216 and Ashland Greenwood/Elmwood Murdock with a

Warrior Volleyball Dominates September 4 Conestoga Triangular
Powerful Serving Helps Team Achieve Victory in Four Matches
The Warrior Volleyball team took to the
highway for their first contest Thursday evening, September 4 at
Conestoga.
In the first match of the night, the Warriors
defeated Conestoga 25-10, 25-8. The Warriors had a stellar night at
the serving line. The girls were able to find the weak zones and

Wahoo Harriers Begin Season on a Positive Note
Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams Both Take First at Schuyler Invite
The Wahoo cross country teams began the competitive part of
their season on Thursday, September 4, at the Schuyler Cross
Country Invitational. Both teams came away with first place
team titles.
Erin Curran led the way for the girls' squad, winning the
race in a record-setting time of 15:19 for the 4000 meter course.
