Letter from WMS Principal addresses COVID-19 concerns
March 16, 2020
Middle School Parents & Guardians:
This is an informational letter in regards to the Wahoo Public Schools’ closure due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Administration and staff have been meeting regularly over the past several days working on ways to provide quality resources for students to use at home during this time of closure. Please note that these resources will be provided as enrichment resources only, and will NOT be graded and are NOT mandatory for student completion. We believe that these resources can provide strong assistance in continuing student growth and development during our time of closure.
The School District has developed a WPS Parent/Student Resource Guide for our specific schools and grade levels that will outline various student resources that can be used at home. This guide can be found on the front page of our school website (www.wahooschools.org). Just click the guide link and click on “Middle School.” It is recommended that you check these resources every week during this school closure period. This guide will continue to be updated with additional information as school closure information is updated. If you are unable to access these resources digitally or do not have access to Wi-Fi, please contact me at the information listed below and we can arrange to have paper copies created and distributed.
If you have any specific questions about any of the resources provided, please feel free to contact a specific teacher via email. Teacher email information can be found on the school website Middle School Staff Info. If you are unable to contact a teacher with your question(s), please contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or contact the Wahoo Middle School Office at (402) 443-3101, extension 2002.

In closing, I want to assure you that we believe we have developed the best possible plan in providing strong resources for our students and families for continual learning during this unprecedented time.
