WCLUB & Wahoo Booster Club Set to Cheer on Basketball Girls & Speech Champion at State Meets

The Wahoo Booster Club and WCLUB would like to say “CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK” to the Wahoo girls basketball team at the Nebraska State Basketball tournament in Lincoln. The Warriors will play their opening round match up versus Southern Valley at 10:45 a.m. at Pershing Auditorium on Thursday, March 4, 2010. Wear your Blue and Gold WCLUB shirts and help cheer on the girls at the STATE TOURNAMENT! GO BIG BLUE AND GO WARRIORS!!!
The Wahoo Booster Club and WCLUB would also like to say “CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK” to Hillary Fick, who was the DISTRICT CHAMPION at the District Speech Contest held Saturday, Feb. 27 in Schuyler. The top three places in each event advance to compete at the State competition held March 18 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Hillary’s informative speech is on "Bees". For this event, the speech must be no longer than eight minutes, memorized, and the speaker must incorporate visual aids. Speakers are judged on various elements of delivery and organization. Congratulations Hillary and “GOOD LUCK” at State!
